Heat treatment

Selection of the correct heat treatment method is essential to meet the growing demands made of components. To develop made-to-measure solutions, we help you select the right materials and the right heat treatment procedure. To bring your workpieces to the correct hardness temperature, we use bell furnaces and are therefore able to put together small lots flexibly.

We offer our customers a very broad range of hardening processes: Martensitic hardening, quenching and tempering, bainitic hardening, quenching and tempering, annealing, gas nitriding, carbonnitriding and, steel shot and steel grave blasting.

The quality of the heat treatment process is decisive for the durability of the part when used later in practice. Therefore continuous order documentation and quality assurance are a matter of course for us. To this end, we rely on proven measuring methods in our own materials laboratory that ensure the quality throughout the entire heat treatment process.

We continue to develop and invest in the future: for instance, in 2016 we introduced the standard CQI-9 (Continuous Quality Improvement) in the heat treatment field. The CQI-9 Heat Treat System Assessment is a self-assessment that needs to be carried out at least once a year. This further improves the reproducible process control and the procedural quality.
